Runner Community Liaison

Full Time - Austin, TX

Runners are the lifeblood of Favor and we’re looking for a Runner Community Liaison to join the Brand team at our headquarters in Austin, TX.  As the Runner Community Liaison, you’ll be the voice of the Favor Runner community, building excitement and consistent messaging across Texas. You’ll be responsible for building and implementing the messaging strategy to build excitement around programs, promotions, product features and the Runner community itself.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Represent Favor across all market Runner Facebook Groups and in person, when necessary
  • Work with market operations to build & execute social strategy for our Runners
  • Be the face of Runner for both in-person events and digital communications
  • Work with in-house creative and photography team to develop social media content
  • Work with product & engineering to develop programming and communications to get Runners excited about new app features
  • Track and report on social media and other campaigns

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Building and maintaining the Runner voice across Texas through social media, blog content and written messaging strategy
  • Developing and implementing social media strategy across Runner-focused social media channels working with market operations
  • Develop and implement strategies with a cross-functional team to build excitement around programs, promotions, product features, Runner stories, and ongoing education
  • Work with in-house creative and photography team to develop social media content
  • Track and report on social media and other campaigns

IS IT YOU WE'RE LOOKING FOR?

  • A vision and a strong understanding of Favor’s diverse Runner community
  • Top-notch writing skills with an eye for clear and concise communication
  • A passion for project management and the ability to quarterback initiatives across multiple teams
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communication, or related field
  • An empathic approach to understanding and representing a diverse community
  • Strong familiarity with business applications of social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube, LinkedIn, etc.)
  • Able to work well in teams and receive professional feedback 
  • Intense curiosity and creativity across multiple mediums 
  • Willing and flexible to navigate between analytical and creative projects
  • Able to work within brand guidelines while also pushing the boundaries

SPECIAL SAUCE (BUT NOT REQUIRED)

  • 1-3 years experience managing social media in-house for a consumer brand 
  • Completion of 100 or more Favors
  • Photography and/or video experience
  • Familiar with Adobe Suite
