Sr. Manager, Sales

Full Time - Austin, TX

We are looking for a driven Senior Manager of Sales with a track record of developing top talent, supporting their team and driving revenue growth. This person will be responsible for achieving the revenue targets, development, and day-to-day success of our Account Executive, Account Management and National Sales teams. They will have a keen eye for creative ways to better development both our front line managers and individual contributors while meeting the demands of our industry, marketplace and partnered book of business. The ideal candidate is someone who can challenge the status quo, drive accountability and ensure their teams have the support needed to attain their goals.

What You'll Do

  • Manage a team of Regional Sales Managers whose teams are responsible for cultivating new business leads, developing and maintaining pipelines and closing accounts
  • Manage a team of Account Management Managers whose teams are responsible for maintaining and improving a valuable book of partnered business by providing top tier customer service, identifying opportunities for marketing and upsells and successfully implementing systems integrations when possible 
  • Monitor and assess the performance of the sales team against established goals and provide regular feedback, coaching and support to ensure team members are on track to meet their objectives
  • Understand the “why” behind the performance of the sales team and implement processes that replicate high converting behaviors across the entire sales organization
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key prospective and existing clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and retention
  • Work closely with Senior and Executive leadership to strategically assign territories and accounts in a way that maximizes efficiency and produces positive revenue outcomes
  • Drive a culture of Learning and Development by managing the ideation and creation of trainings that provide meaningful impact to both the teams and the business
  • Work cross-functionally with Sales Ops, Content, Marketing and Merchandising to ensure successful program launches and continued Merchant growth
  • Hire, train and mentor a high performing Sales team supporting our most established markets when necessary 
  • Manage and delegate sales-related projects 
  • Serve as an escalation point of contact for the sales organization
  • Achieve and consistently exceed monthly, quarterly and yearly sales goals 
  • Serves as a cross-functional liaison for our Sales Organization 

Skills You Have

  • A bachelor’s degree (relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree)
  • 6+ years of experience in sales; 4+ years of experience in management 
  • A track record of developing high performing managers and individual contributors
  • A history of recruiting, training and building out sales teams 
  • Excellent project-management and task delegation 
  • A strong history of executing full life cycle sales and effective account management over the phone and in person
  • A highly customer-focused mindset and consultative sales approach
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
