H-E-B and Favor Senior Support Line

Seniors, 60 and older, can order here. Placing an order is not a guarantee of product availability.

This service sends a Favor Runner to H-E-B to shop for you today, and they will stay in touch regarding availability. For your safety, the items will be left at your doorstep.

You must pay via credit or debit card, and in addition to the cost of your groceries, you will pay a $10 tip which goes entirely to your Favor Runner.

Our Texas seniors need help—H-E-B and Favor are taking help to them.

H-E-B, in partnership with Favor, have launched a simple, affordable solution that offers contactless delivery of essential food and supplies to where seniors are safest—at home. Beginning on Friday, March 20, seniors across Texas, aged 60 and older, will be able to place orders with Favor using a curated list of grocery essentials available from H-E-B.

“There’s no such thing as being too cautious with our seniors at this time. We heard from our customers loud and clear, and we’re ready to offer an easy, convenient solution to serve seniors while keeping them safe. Together with Favor, H-E-B is committed to helping Texans get the products they need while slowing the spread of coronavirus in our communities.” — Martin Otto, H-E-B chief operating officer

What is it?

The H-E-B & Favor Senior Support Line is a new delivery program designed to offer a safer shopping solution for seniors across Texas. H-E-B and Favor are working together to provide a simple, affordable solution that offers contactless delivery of essential food and supplies to seniors where they are safest—at home.

Who is it for?

The H-E-B & Favor Senior Support Line is available to seniors aged 60 and older in select Favor markets across Texas.

How does it work?

Seniors will be able to place orders from a curated list of grocery essentials via a dedicated Senior Support phone line, the Favor app, or favordelivery.com.

The Senior Support Line will be staffed with volunteers to accept and process orders over the phone from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., seven days a week. To access the Senior Support Line, call 1-833-397-0080.

Once an order has been placed, a Favor Runner will personally shop for the items at H-E-B and deliver them within a few hours. To promote social distancing and limit exposure, all Favors will be dropped off at the customer’s doorstep.

Are there any restrictions?

Seniors will be able to select items from a curated list of generic products (such as milk, eggs, and bread), as well as add custom items to their order. There is currently a 25-item limit per order. In addition, substitutions may be offered based on product availability.

How much does it cost?

To keep this service affordable for those most in need, H-E-B and Favor will waive all delivery and service fees for the first 30 days of the program. Instead, all orders will include a $10 tip, which goes entirely to the Favor Runner, who will personally shop and deliver the items.

When and where will this program be available?

The H-E-B & Favor Senior Support Line will be available from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily, starting Friday, March 20. The program is currently available to seniors who live within eight miles of an H-E-B in the following Favor metro areas: Houston Metro, Austin Metro, San Antonio, Rio Grande Valley, Corpus Christi, Killeen, College Station, New Braunfels, Waco, San Marcos, Odessa, Midland, Beaumont, Temple, Victoria, Abilene, Laredo, San Angelo, Texas.

How can I order online?

Seniors 60+ can order from H-E-B directly through our Easy Ordering & Delivery website. It’s like sending your friend to the store with a grocery list—you simply type in the items you need and a Runner will personally shop for and deliver your items right to your doorstep.

How can I give to the Senior Support Fund?

Texans can give directly at favordelivery.com/SeniorSupportFund and after every in-app Favor.

100% of contributions from the Senior Support Fund will be directly applied to seniors’ orders to ensure they have low-cost access to home delivery during the COVID-19 outbreak.

How can seniors request these funds?

We want to help as many Texas seniors as possible. Seniors can call the H-E-B & Favor Senior Support Line, staffed by H-E-B & Favor volunteers, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. seven days a week. Volunteers will apply contributions from this fund to seniors’ orders to help cover the cost of home delivery.
